If the Packers lose tomorrow.....

Mike McCarthy should be fired. I know the Pack went 10-6 with all of those injuries. It's simply not enough. We have a top 5 QB &  Pro Bowler Greg Jennings on offense and 3 Pro Bowlers on Defense led by OLB Clay Matthews. Plus plenty of talent around them. All six losses by the Pack this year were by four points or less.In those six games, they have been outscored 63-27 after the third quarter. That comes down to coaching. Ultimately the onus fall on the coach. Mediocrity is not good enough. It's time to win in the playoffs. If McCarthy can't produce in big games it's time to bring in someone who can. Gruden anyone?

Playoffs Start with Two Upsets

Both great games. Not sure anyone would have bet the Seahawks over the Saints but that's why they play the games. Looking forward to tomorrow.

Inauguration Day Protestors Rally for the Unemployed

Click here for the story from the Cap Times.

Some thoughts on this article,

1. The guy JUST got into office give him some time it took 8 years to get into this mess it's not going to be fixed overnight.

2. Quit bitching about the train. It's over and done with. Besides who would really ride the train at $60.00  a pop round trip? I can drive my Gas guzzling V-8 truck to and from Milwaukee for less than that.

3. From the article:  Had Giles been inside the Capitol for Walker's inaugural speech, she may have been surprised that he made no mention of "unemployment" or the "unemployed."
Really????? Because he did say this:Walker said he wants his job plan approved by the end of February.
"Our message is simple. Act swiftly. Act decisively," Walker said. "Let us get Wisconsin working again." Pretty sure that covers it.

4. Again from the article: According to Walker, in fact, the less government the better. Hallelujah Brother!

Just a Few Things

1. Badgers we still love you
2. My Packer goggles have kicked in and I think we win this week
3. John Boehner's gavel is huge, I'm sure its a statement but Im not sure what it says
4. Nancy Pelosi says "For every dollar we spend on unemployment 2.00 goes into the economy" I say Genius, she figured out all we need to do is make everyone unemployed and the economy will be booming!
5. Scott Walker in Russ Feingold out and the left had a collective stroke
6. Democrats think your stupid and greedy
7. Republicans think your poor and lazy
8. Liberterians wonder why all of their supporters are potheads
9. Green Party to run Nader again, campaign slogan "I invented seatbelts!"
10. We need more cowbell

Holloway Next Exec?

Lee Holloway current Milw. County Board President and acting County Exec. has announced his candidacy for the Milw. County Exec. position vacated by our new Governor Scott Walker.

Holloway is the most qualified candidate, I know thats true because he said so. He also had a transition team of 34 people to help him settle into the position he will hold for an entire 30 days. You dont get that kind of backing without some major qualifications. Sure 34 people might seem excessive if you consider that is less than the President of the United States had but Obama will be there for 4 years so Holloway needed to move a lot faster.

Now I know your saying, hey isnt Holloway a slumlord. Rumors and innuendo I say, sure 5 or 6 documented stories in the local paper about his dilapidated properties, a few lawsuits against him by the county and numerous complaints by residents who live there are nothing but slander I say! I mean this guy is going to fix the problems Walker left behind at the mental Health Complex he told us that during his rambling semi incoherent inauguration speech. I mean his press conference.

I can hear you now saying wait a minute, hes President of the Board dont they have to approve the County Exec's. budget which led to problems at the MHC in the first place and aren't many of the resident of his run down properties also mentally disabled? Didnt he also preside over those budgets that bypassed maintenance at county owned properties and parks and were said to have contributed to the death of a young man at the O'Donnell parking structure?

All I have to say to that is 34 people on that transition team, more than the President, that is some clout!. Who has time for budgets and building maintenance, do you have any idea how hard it is to even find 34 people who like you much less who can take time off in the middle of a work day to stand outside in January in Milwaukee and support you?

I dont think I even know 34 people much less 34 people who like me enough for that kind of support.

Lee Holloway for Milw. County Exec. he wont fix his homes but he will raise your taxes, I know he said so!

Moving out....

I have one constant in my life, that is being told to move out of the state.

Taxes to high and you don't like it? Move
Schools producing illiterate criminals? Move
Got yelled at for swimming in the penguin tank? Move

Look I am the last person to have a rational discussion with, I fooled around with a girl in high school once who had three teeth and later got a celebrity article written about her in the Times, you may have read it. " Firefighters Remove Wall to Free Woman From Home"
